Our Acklam Whin setting provides high-quality childcare for children aged 2 to 11 years, operating Monday to Friday during term time, from 7:45am to 5:45pm. We proudly deliver 15 and 30 hours of funded childcare for eligible 3- and 4-year-olds, with flexible morning and afternoon sessions. Our toddler room offers 15 hours of funded care for eligible 2-year-olds, supporting early development during the school day.
To support working families, we also offer a Breakfast Club and After School Club, open to children attending Acklam Whin Primary School and nearby schools including Whinney Banks Primary and St. Clare’s Catholic Primary School.
Children thrive in our light, bright, and secure indoor and outdoor environments, designed to stimulate learning and development across the seven areas of the EYFS Framework. Activities are carefully planned around each child’s interests, encouraging curiosity, creativity, and confidence.
